Soooo Busy, sorry

Lots of gardening! Oh, so much!

Our rental townhouse in Talent was empty and a little destroyed - so lots of rehabbing.

A relaxing 2 days at Jedediah Smith State Park.

Back home to more rehabbing.

After renting to (hopefully) a great renter - back to more gardening.

What can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment!

My weekend!

Spent most of my time outside, cleaning the slope and planting new groundcover to hopefully, make it look nice!
I finished my 'glad'  bed.  Had some gladiolus planted somewhere else, moved them and added some minis I ordered  on line.
Still have to work on the rest of the slope :(
Pete poured concrete, ran out and is getting more to finish up the arbor installation.
A little more to go and then I can sit on the porch and relax!

Coming along...

Ready for putty, sanding & painting! Yeh!  Although, it's a nice weekend and I still gave a little gardening to do, let me rephrase that,  a lot of gardening.....

Projects, projects, projects!

Pete has started fixing the
cabinet and he'll fix the holes on the door. Next step will prepping and painting (my job). Staying with the 'shabby chic' look; painting off white.
Both pieces bought at the 'Habitat Restore.'
Solid core door - Cut down $20.
Cabinet - $30.
Extra door for back side - $3.

Clematis

I've been wanting one for a while, but I had to wait for a certain spot. Bought one in the Fall and I can see it's going to do well.
Coming this weekend we're finally buying the arbor,  I hope it will overtake!
Very excited about this!

My Pinterest experiment....

I decided to try my hand at seeds again! Only because I saw this on Pinterest. If you're interested it's on my 'gardening'  board. Last night I transferred some that were getting crazy! Hopefully they will survive.

Life in the country!

Thank goodness Rocky now has mom's car. Pete was getting ready to start up the mower and it had a huge nest in it.  After spending a good long
while cleaning it out, it will now reside in the garage with the ATV.

A Find!

My neighbor down the road cleaned out her property and left stuff on the side of the road.  Found this 'tin', I think, tray.  Cleaning it up and I'll share the after picture when I spray paint.

My quilt

Here's the latest as of today. 7 rows together, 2 need to be sewn together and then I have 3 more rows left! I've been trying to fit it in between gardening,  work and exercise.  This is the largest quilt I've ever made!  This will be a huge accomplishment for me! I know I've been MIA; blame that on Facebook and Pinterest, sorry folks.

Finally!

Putting the blocks together for my quilt.
What a challenge!  It's a yellow brick road pattern and I just figured out I'll have to do it in sections,  it's the only way to make it work. When you put this one together you don't want the same fabrics touching each other,  something I might have to get over since my wall is not big enough. Hoping it works out.
