Remember This?
Just completed this for above the sewing desk.
I picked up this frame from my neighbor's 'free' pile along side of the road. It was very 'chippy.' I filled in some of the chips and I gave up on the difficult ones. It's supposed to look a little distressed, right?
I painted it and hung the banner I had made across my free frame.

Sewing desk
This desk has 'gone' around. Rocky used it as a side table in his bedroom and he used it as a desk a couple of years up in Eugene.
It was a little short to get my 'free' chair under. I had Pete add 1/2 bun feet and 1/2 inch wood to elevate it. I sanded and oiled the table.
I bought this little used table a few years ago for almost nothing and it has definitely been used!
The chair was a dirty leftover from our townhouse rental.
I cleaned it up and sanded. Good thing we didn't throw it out!

Used and loved!
I had Pete add two doors on each end for easy access.
Since the top was originally a door, it had a hole for the door handle. We left it and added a little basket that slides in and it is now a thread and garbage catcher.
Since I am home a lot more these days, there is a quite a bit of sewing going on!
