With life, moving mom, work, losing my job, Rocky's 21st birthday in Yerington/Reno, I've been a little busy. I was reminded of my blog by Peggy! Hi Peg!
I'm still around! I guess Facebook and Pinterest have also been filling in the time I used for my blog!
So here go a few photos of the last few months on what I've been doing:
The Big 6-0 Celebration - Zip Lining in Gold Hill, Oregon with friends and family!
My friend Anni popped up here in Ashland and surprised me; she'd been planning on coming out for 9 years!
Tim and Laurie planned on making the trip as soon as I mentioned "zip lining!"
What great fun we had!!!!!! Definitely planning on doing this again!
Camping at Antelope Lake in Northern California, outside of Susanville.
Took an extra day off and met Tim and Laurie there.
We really had a great time!
Mom's Move to Ashland!
Mom finally made a decision. Rocky and I went to Henderson, finished packing her up. I rented a 16' Penske moving truck and off we were!
We stopped overnight at SIL's home in Yerington and on Saturday morning we were up and running.
Mom did really well with our road trip.
Pete was waiting with a friend to unload us.
Now I can cross driving a moving truck off my bucket list!
This Summer I finally canned!
Mom was a great little helper, although I did wear her out!
I canned tomato sauce, tomatoes and lots of peaches!
For my 60th birthday, the Vegas Babes gave me a ticket to Las Vegas.
I decided to use it the end of October when the weather was a little more on the cooler side.
No fancy shows or dinners. Just hanging out with the girls doing what we used to do; enjoying each others company. We made some great dinners, played cards and games and caught up!
It was just like old times. I had the best time!!! I almost felt like I was supposed to stay there because I felt like I had fallen into my old life!
Can't wait to go back.
I do have the best friends!!!!!!
For Thanksgiving weekend we went to Yerington, NV to celebrate with Tim and Laurie.
We hadn't been there in a while and I told Pete it was definitely our turn to go to their place.
This photo was taken outside a great breakfast place in Reno right before our ride home.
We had the best time.
We had the best time.
The best part was that we got to celebrate Rocky's 21st birthday, yes, you read right, my baby boy is now 21!!!!
Uncle Tim, Rocky and Aunt Laurie
Rocky getting ready to golf with Uncle Tim and Dad on his actual birthday, November 30th.
Laurie, mom and I went to Reno and shopped a while and then met up with the guys.
We had dinner, took in a show and stayed in Reno.
Rocky gambled and we all had a drink with him.
On Sunday we headed back to Ashland.
Saw a similar idea on Pinterest and I just had to do it!
Rocky's little surprise gift!
Our Christmas photo this year.
This is pretty much it in a nutshell!
Sorry, no Christmas cards this year, lots going on, will post more!
